MUNICH, Germany - Govecs Group, the Munich-based company behind the leading two-wheeler e-mobility solution, has filed for insolvency at the Munich District Court. Despite the supplier's recent production line opening in Poland and its strategic pivot to focus on its retro eSchwalbe moped brand, the company appears unable to sustain itself through 2026.

FRANKFURT, Germany - There are big changes ahead for Eurobike starting in 2026, as the trade fair refocuses on sport cycling and the world of performance bikes. Organiser Fairnamic also announced the launch of Mobifuture, a new trade show dedicated entirely to electric micromobility.

According to Deloitte, "e-bikes in particular are emerging as key drivers of e-mobility. This all provided extra tailwind to this sector."

In terms of looks, this is reminiscent of an old-fashioned moped, but it is electrically powered and connected and therefore focused on the future. The Dutch creators utilised their knowledge from the bicycle industry to bring the product to market.
