Eurobike premieres Asian expansion with Asiabike Jakarta next week

JAKARTA, Indonesia - More than 90 leading exhibitors from two-wheeler companies are gearing up for the premiere of Asiabike Jakarta at the Jakarta International Expo from April 30 - May 4, 2024. Organised in partnership with Eurobike jointly by Messe Frankfurt, Periklindo (Indonesian Electric Vehicle Industry Association), Pt. Dyandra Promosindo and Jiangsu Bicycle Co Ltd.

Eurobike next milestone to assess state of affairs in the bicycle industry

FRANKFURT, Germany - Eurobike has been steadily transforming from a bicycle and e-bike show to a mobility event over the past few years. The relocation to Frankfurt in 2022 gave a clear direction for Eurobike and confirmed that Friedrichshafen was too small to fulfill these ambitions. The announcement to launch the Jakarta and Istanbul editions, show the objective to turn Eurobike into an even more global event.

FRANKFURT, Germany - Eurobike organizer fairnamic is expanding its flagship trade fair Eurobike to two new locations. On March 28, 2024, the first Eurobike Istanbul will open its doors in Turkey and from April 30 to May 4, 2024, Asiabike Jakarta is due to celebrate its premiere in Indonesia.

Calls for collaboration as industry launches sustainability initiatives

FRANKFURT AM MAIN, Germany - Friday was 'sustainability day' at Eurobike with several new initiatives being launched. This included a new guide to help the German bicycle industry report on their sustainability activities and the Cycling Industry Climate Pledge. On a national and international level there were repeated calls for all parties to work together. "We need to place collaboration at the core of our efforts," stated Alex Thun, CEO of Thun and Chair of CIE and CONEBI's sustainability expert group.

Longtails, cargo, compact and fat bikes dominate at Eurobike

FRANKFURT AM MAIN, Germany - Eurobike remains worthy a visit for bicycle designers. This latest edition from 21 to 25 June 2023 was also brimming with innovation. Dutch dicycle designer Peter van der Veer reflects on the latest trends in design and form. He mainly saw a trend of an increasing number of different models in longtails, cargo, compact and fat bikes.

Eurobike Investors Lounge enjoys growing interest from private equity

FRANKFURT, Germany - The second edition of the Eurobike Investors Lounge attracted some 70 participants, primarily private equity investors and family offices. The high level of attendance shows that investors still see the potential of the bicycle industry.
