BESV believes this is a defining moment for e-bikes—and for the dealers who choose to ride the future with the right partner. At Eurobike 2025 it shows us see why.
The e-bike boom
Cities are pushing to decarbonize and decongest. AI is reshaping logistics and infrastructure. Amid this transformation, the humble e-bike has surged forward—not just as a consumer trend, but as a central solution to future mobility.
While COVID-19 certainly accelerated the e-bike boom, industry research and urban policy developments suggest something deeper is underway. According to mobility researcher Patrick Rérat, “The growing adoption of the e-bike, its cohabitation with the mechanical bike and its substitution of the car are key components of the transition towards low-carbon mobility.”
This is echoed by in actions such as the European Declaration on Cycling, and by leading European cities—Munich, Paris, Amsterdam—that are investing heavily in cycling infrastructure and policy support. E-bikes aren’t just here to stay, they’re just getting started.
Choice, competition, and confidence
Yet for many retailers, this revolution comes with risk. Warehouses are full. Competition is fierce. Customers are changing. Dealers are left navigating uncertainty about where to place their bets. In this moment, trust and alignment with the right brand matter more than ever.
“That’s where brands like ours come in,” explains Bram Reitsma, sales & brand manager at BESV. “We’ve spent the last decade developing premium e-bikes that strike a balance between style, smart technology, and everyday performance. But more importantly, we’ve built a model that works with retailers—not over them. We understand that for independent dealers and leading retailers, it’s not just about product. It’s about partnership.”

Built on connection
“Behind every BESV bike is a network of relationships that keep us grounded and growing,” says Reitsma. “From our core team in the Netherlands and tight-knit distributor partnerships, to our ongoing collaborations with premium component vendors like Bosch and Shimano, every part of our ecosystem is built on trust.”
The company wants to show that it is not just a bike brand, but also a platform for partnership.
Reitsma: “We’re selective about who we work with. And we offer local support, smart logistics, and product training that meets your market. We stay nimble—so that as the market shifts, we can shift with you. We know what it’s like to navigate change, and we’re ready to ride it out together.”
Why now matters
A major industry study by the Transport for Under Two Degrees project found that by 2050, bicycles and public transport will likely dominate urban mobility. “That future isn’t far off— it’s forming now,” says Reitsma. “Retailers who align with agile, future-focused partners will be best positioned to lead. As Eurobike's own mission puts it: this is the decade that transforms the bike ‘from a leisure and sport device into a central foundation of sustainable future mobility’.”
“At BESV, we’re not just responding to that future. We’re helping shape it,” emphasises Reitsma.

One giant ride for humankind
“Inspired by one of humankind’s boldest moves, our 2025 presence at Eurobike is more than a product launch,” explains Reitsma. “It’s a flag in the ground. A statement of intent. We’re calling it our moon moment—because it represents a leap forward in what BESV stands for, and where we’re going.”
At the booth, you’ll find:
- The company’s first full range of Bosch-powered e-bikes – a direct response to feedback from riders and retailers seeking a wider range of trusted drive systems.
- Five never-seen-before models, including cargo-capable city bikes, all designed with gross weight capacities between 140–160kg—combining versatility with the signature sleek aesthetics of the brand.
- Refined design across the board, blending technology with elegance, and developed through collaboration between Taiwanese engineers, Polish designers, and Czech producers.
Reitsma concludes: “We’re bringing style with substance. You’re invited to be a part of it. Visit our booth and experience the momentum for yourself. Whether you’re looking for a new premium brand partner, or just want to talk shop about what’s next in e-bikes—we’d love to meet you. Because the revolution is already in motion. And we’re riding it to the moon and back.”
